Board of Directors

Alice has served as President since 2005. In addition to being our fearless board leader, she is an active volunteer at Children’s Theatre Association of San Francisco and chorister at Calvary Presbyterian Church. Alice lives in Larkspur with her artist husband, Robert Gantt Steele.

Dorine organizes the Center's Horses as Healers Outreach program offered to Marin women cancer survivors from MarinHealth Medical Center and UCSF. Dorine is a long term Miwok rider. She lives in Marin.

Eric is a retired finance executive living in San Francisco. His family raised Arabian horses in the Midwest, but he had gotten away from riding as an adult. A family equestrian trip to Wales in 2015 brought him to Miwok to brush up skills & he's been involved ever since.

Michelle has always loved horses and started riding at Miwok in 2012. She introduced her husband to the magic of Miwok a few years ago and he was immediately hooked. They board their two horses at Miwok and can be found hanging around the barn each weekend. Michelle is an HR executive and lives in San Francisco.

Ramesh started riding at Miwok when she first moved to Marin 15 years ago (with breaks between children). One of her daughters is now on the Show Team so it has become a family affair. Ramesh worked as an attorney in Silicon Valley prior to having kids. She currently serves on the Stanford PANS Advisory Counsel and the National Alliance for Pans/Pandas Action.

Angelique boarded her handsome Morgan, Domino, Atlas’s trail buddy, for years at Miwok Stables. She is an Interior Designer, and an enthusiastic Miwok event planner. Married to Fred Carr, they live in San Rafael.
